A few years back these Swedish dudes contributed with two of the fine dance tunes to the Swedish indie scene.
Kalle J’s “Vingslag” set many dance floors on fire with its brilliant house pop in 2007, and a year later Johan Tuvesson from the band Nicolas Makelberge introduced “Dying in Africa”, a fabulous electro pop song that became the highlight of many playlists that summer.
2010 Kalle J and Johan Tuvesson returns to the Swedish music scene to create music together under the name Karl X Johan.
Emotion, a new alternative indie label out of Stockholm, Sweden, releases their debut Flames June 8.
The EP commence with “So On”, a tranquil instrumental song with strong 80ies influences. “Flames” is the master hit of the EP. The song opens on max level with dramatic drums, the sounds of orchestras, vocals that escalates to a grandiose tune of fine electro pop.
July 27 Emotion releases a remix version of Flames, made by three unknown high school youngsters by the age of 15: Jakob Wedenborn, Henrik Hallius and Douglas Persson. The remix takes this pompous pop tune to a whole new level by adding house beats and powerful piano arrangements making Flames more monumental and magic than ever anticipated.
